So after finishing up my ATC cards and just about ready to start a birthday card ... I got this brainstorm idea ...
Starting January 2010 I'm going to make a 2010 scrapbook album ... I haven't done one of these yet and I really like the idea of chronicling about an entire year in a crafty way.
Okay I just wanted to post that lil tidbit ... now I'm off to make a birthday card for one of my customers.

Productive Plans
So I'm taking a quick break from my massive overhaul of cleaning my room and rearranging things. I'm so happy that I was able to move my scrapbook table to a more well lit area of my room AND I even found an extra storage drawer area to stash more things!! YAY!!
Now with all my stuff re-organized ... I can find stuff that I had forgotten about. I found stencils from 2 years ago, I found punches from 2 years ago ... I was like OOOH TREASURE!! LOL. I am so loving my "new" corner. So I better start on some ATC stuff!!
On a side note, I'm so excited!! My son, Jayden, is starting to take 3 steps at a time walking. He's still on the stiff side but he's getting used to balancing. I give him another two weeks and he should be toddling around in no time. He's very determined and loves to be on the move.
Well that's all for my post ... gotta keep moving on this room!!

First Impressions
So here I am ... my first blog post.
My name is Stephanie. I was just recently married in July 2009 and I have two wonderful children (currently 6 years old and a 1 year old). I went from being a preschool teacher to a waitress. I love my waitressing job and it allows me to spend more time with my family and to do my favorite thing ... scrapbooking.
I've been scrapbooking for about 7 years ... however I wasn't really into it until 2 years ago. I have so many projects in the works and I've only completed a couple. Unfortunately an idea for a project will hit me and I jump right into it ... shelving the previous project. LOL.
I already have projects for the future and I'm afraid I'm going to forget them all!! So I decided to mention them here in this blog from time to time just so I can see it and be reminded.
I would like to someday:
1) have my own scrapbook party
2) make an a-z book about me
3) make a family book with a single picture in the center of the page and words to describe each person written around the picture.
4) make a 100 things about me book
5) create a book just about my daughter
6) create a book just about my son
7) create a book about my little family
8) make a book for my cousin about her figure skating from when she was 6 until currently at 23.
9) make a pet scrapbook about all the family pets
With all that being said ... I just completed my mother in law's scrapbook I'm going to mail her. She lives in Georgia and I figured it would be a nice Christmas gift to her to get a book of our family up here in Connecticut. I have been also really into making cards recently thanks to a fellow scrappy friend of mine who works in a scrapbook store ... YAY ... I love having a connection!!
For Christmas I am making my mother a recipe binder book from a 5x7 chipboard book by maya road. I'm using the Nook and Pantry papers to create labeled sections which I'm dividing into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. I'm just waiting on my two peas order I placed ... I'm so excited about it.
So there you have it ... a little piece of me for the moment. :)
